Set up
Sport and rules
Points for a win, draw and loss, ordered tiebreakers, match length. Every page uses your sport's words.
Fourteen sports
Football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, padel, tennis, pickleball, table tennis, badminton, netball, rugby sevens, chess and esports, each with official rules you can change and reset.
Your own sport
Pick how it's scored (goals, points, sets, games, a single result or a series of maps) and set the numbers yourself.
Formats
Groups into a knockout with crossovers, round robin with a final, single and double elimination with byes, Cup and Plate.
Rulebooks and programs
Set your standard rules once and every competition inherits them. Group a season's competitions into a program: shared blocked dates, shared discipline, and one registration for clubs.
Swiss
Dutch-style pairings by score each round: no rematches, colours alternate, one bye each at most. The next round pairs itself when the last result is in, with Buchholz and Sonneborn-Berger tiebreaks.
Ladders
Players challenge up to a set number of places above them, answer within a deadline or forfeit, and swap places on a win.
Format preview
See the groups, seeds and bracket a format produces before you generate a single fixture.
Leagues and seasons
Weekly matchdays around half-terms and holidays, catch-up dates, postponements both managers agree to, form and games in hand.
Register and pay
Registration
Teams, players, guardian waivers and payment in four steps, with age bands and squad sizes checked as they go.
Entry fees to your account
Connect your own Paystack account. Full payment or a deposit; KompGrid never holds your money.
Entries and waitlist
Approve, decline, offer waitlist places with a deadline, and remind managers in one click.
Parents sign for themselves
Send each parent a link to sign the waiver and choose photo, streaming and name consent.
Automatic reminders
Managers with short squads, unsigned waivers or fees owed get a reminder before the event.
Schedule
Auto-scheduler
Places every match across your pitches and days around rest times, pitch sizes, breaks and same-club clashes.
Will it fit?
See when each day ends and each division finishes, and who waits longest, before you publish.
Pin and move
Pin a match to a slot and the rules are re-checked instantly.
Running late
Shift a pitch by 10, 15 or 20 minutes and email every affected team.
Match day
Phone scorekeeper
Big buttons for each sport: goals and shoot-outs, +1/+2/+3 with team fouls, rally points with the set grid, 15-30-40 with golden point. Offline queue, every change logged with who made it.
Live control room
Every pitch at a glance, scorers online, disputes to settle, pitches running late.
Public event site
Live now, schedule, brackets and standings with tiebreaks explained, team pages and a match centre.
Team sheets
Formations, basketball's five, volleyball rotations with a libero, padel pairs with an approved substitute partner. Checked for ages, waivers and bans, locked at the start.
Follow a team
Result emails and a calendar feed, with nothing tracked.
Venue TV screens
Every pitch, what's next and a rotating live table for the big screen, with a QR code to the site.
A website for every competition
Free with every competition: home, matches, standings, teams, stats, news, highlights and about, a page for every team and match, and live scores, in the Club classic or Grassroots theme.
Your own address
Run the site on cup.yourclub.com, with widgets and TV screens following, and KompGrid branding removed. White-label is an add-on, and it unlocks the full website too: the Elite and Arena themes, your own colours and fonts, and your own pages and blocks.
Website widgets
Live scores, tables, team cards, registration and brackets on your club's own site. Paste once; they update themselves.
Live-stream embeds
Your own YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook Live stream for a pitch. A game goes on air only when every player has streaming consent, U10 and younger never do, and the video loads only when a viewer taps play. Streams are an add-on.
After the whistle
Results and disputes
Each sport's officials sign off (referee and both sides, volleyball's four signers, chess's arbiter); disputes are logged and standings wait until they're settled.
Chess games
Players report the result on their phones, the arbiter confirms, and an uploaded game file replays move by move on the event site.
Discipline
Red cards and yellow-card build-ups become bans that follow the schedule, and banned players can't be picked.
Brackets fill themselves
Group winners and knockout winners move into the next round as results come in.
Media library and reports
Photos checked against consent with faces blurred before publishing, clips tagged to goals, match reports drafted from the timeline. Media is an add-on.
Sponsors
Logo placements on the event site, team pages, widgets and venue screens, with counts-only reports sponsors open from a link. Sponsors are an add-on.
